Allen John Carbaugh

Allen John Carbaugh, 83, of Waterside, passed away on October 7, 2017 at his home. Born on November 3, 1933 in Waterside, the son of the late Ernest H. and Violet (Fletcher) Carbaugh. On August 10, 1952 at the Waterside Church of the Brethren he married Donna Lee (McVicker) Carbaugh who survives. Allen was a farmer and worked 30 years for Barkman Oil Company. He was a graduate of the Replogle High School Class of 1951 and was a member of the New Enterprise Church of the Brethren. Surviving is his wife Donna Lee; sons Gregg Allen Carbaugh and wife Roseanna (Janidlo) and Roy Blair Carbaugh and wife Cindy (Clapper) both of Woodbury; daughter Julie Lynn Nelson and husband Robert of Mount Joy, PA; brother Blair Carbaugh; sisters Betty and Mardella; as well as 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son Paul Neal Carbaugh, daughter Joan Lee Bechtel, and brother Glen Herbert Carbaugh. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 10th from 9:30AM-11:00AM. At 11:00AM a funeral service will take place with Tom Smith and Father Gardner officiating. All of the above will be at the New Enterprise Church of the Brethren. Interment at Koontz Cemetery.
