Anna H. (Garman) Nolt

Anna H. Nolt, 82, of 2755 Clover Creek Road, Martinsburg, Pennsylvania, entered into rest at her residence on July 14, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Nolt, in November of 2020. Born in Lancaster County on August 14, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Noah and Emma (Hoover) Garman. Anna was a member of the Piney Creek Mennonite Church, Groffdale Conference.

She is survived by her children: son, Marlin Nolt of Williamsburg; son, Paul Ivan Nolt (Brenda Zimmerman) of Martinsburg; daughter, Ruth Ann Zimmerman (Vernon) of Woodbury; son, Wilmer Nolt (Miriam Newswanger) of Martinsburg; son, Warren Nolt (Amanda Brubaker) of Martinsburg; daughter, Mary Jane Martin (Aaron) of Roaring Spring; daughter, Marian Stauffer (Marvin) of Martinsburg; daughter, Anna Mae Martin (Jonathan)of Martinsburg; 42 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her siblings: Allen Garman (Miriam) of Martinsburg; Titus Garman (Lois) of Martinsburg; Leroy Garman (Janet) of Martinsburg; Mary Horst (Irvin) of East Earl; Erma Martin (Harold) of Shiloh, OH; sisters-in-law: Esther Garman of East Earl, Mary Ann Garman of Narvon, and Suetta Garman of Martinsburg; and brothers-in-law: Franklin Hoover and Amos Martin, both of New Holland.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Esther Hoover, Martha Martin, and Ella Newswanger; brothers, Paul Garman, Edwin Garman, and Harry Garman; and a brother-in-law, Noah Newswanger.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 2:00-4:00PM and 6:00-8:00PM at her residence (2755 Clover Creek Road Martinsburg, PA 16662). A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 beginning at 9:30AM at the Piney Creek Mennonite Church; Bishop Irvin Zimmerman, Alvin Zimmerman, Mervin Martin, Jere Martin, and Moses Zimmerman officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
