Anna Ada Forshey, 87, Martinsburg, passed away Friday evening at her home.

She was born in Barree, Huntingdon County, daughter of the late Abram E. and Clara A. (Detwiler) Huntsman.  She married Richard E. Forshey on December 31, 1949 at Memorial Church of the Brethren, Martinsburg.

Surviving are her beloved husband of 66 years: 2 sons: Kenneth E. (wife, Brenda) of Martinsburg and Paul R. (wife, Audrey Dentith) of Oak Ridge, NC; 3 grandchildren: Michael Forshey (Mary) of Harrisburg, Michelle Davis (Matthew) of Duncansville, and Angline Forshey at home; a step granddaughter, Abigail Cyman (Edward) of Frisco, TX; 3 great-grandchildren: Ella, Brock and Brice; and 3 brothers: Abram E., Floyd L. and Clinton P. Huntsman.

She was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 6 sisters.

Anna was a high school graduate and a member of Memorial Church of the Brethren, Martinsburg.

She was primarily a homemaker who also worked as a babysitter and had been employed at Quality Sewing Factory, Martinsburg.

Anna enjoyed gardening and babysitting her grandchildren.

Friends will be received from 10 until the 11 am funeral service, Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Memorial Church of the Brethren, Martinsburg, Pastor Joel F. Nogle officiating.  Private interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
