Anna Fern Holsinger
October 29, 1936 – August 30, 2021
Anna Fern Holsinger, 84, a resident of The Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg formerly of Roaring Spring, passed away Monday morning, August 30, 2021, at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center, Roaring Spring.
She was born in New Enterprise, daughter of the late Paul J. and Mary (Stiffler) Teeter. Anna was twice married, first to Robert C. Dick, who preceded her in death on January 25, 1991 and then on August 27, 1994 married James H. Holsinger, who passed away on January 8, 2017.
Surviving are her four loving children: Ricky L. Dick (Susan) of Roaring Spring, Cheryl K. Morgart (Richard) of Everett, Scott A. Dick (Cindy), and Steve J. Dick (Tracie) both of Roaring Spring; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; special brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard and Nancy Dick of Roaring Spring; and a very special friend, Boyd Shaw of East Freedom.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Joey.
Anna worked for various businesses throughout the years including Schulmans, Dog and Suds, and The Big T. She was a member of the Smith Corner Church, East Freedom.
She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and also enjoyed camping, going to gospel concerts and reading.
Friends will be received from 3 to 4pm, Sunday, September 5, 2021, at Tatesville United Methodist Church, where a funeral service will follow at 4pm, Pastor Suzanne Detterline officiating. Private interment will be held at Bedford Forge Cemetery, Hopewell. The family prefers that all visitors please wear a mask. Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home, Martinsburg.
