Arlie Vance Hart I, 85, of Jacks Corner, passed away on November 18, 2018 at his home. He was born on September 20, 1933 in Saxton, son of the late Walter S. and Emma Elsie (Whitfield) Hart. On November 3, 1956 in Bergenfield, NJ, he married Janet Pearl Hall who survives. Arlie attended the Barnstown School and was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church in Woodbury. He served his country in the United States Army as a SPC 4 during the Korean Conflict. Arlie was a self-employed carpenter by trade and a logger/sawmiller by choice. He enjoyed wood and woodworking and his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sisters; Geraldine, Agnes, Cloette, and Connie and brothers; Charles, David, Willard, and Daniel. Surviving are his wife Janet; son Arlie Vance Hart II (wife Sheryl) of Williamsburg, PA; son Victor Zane Hart I (partner Lisa) of Hopewell, PA; daughter Alexia Jean Morris (husband Tony) of Hampstead, NC; daughter Annette Yolanda Walls (husband Larry) of Martinsburg, PA; son Nathaniel Dean Hart (wife Tammy) of Clearville, PA; daughter Tonya Lynn Tenley (partner Mike) of Hopewell, PA; son Todd Lynn Hart (wife Liliana) of Boca Raton, FL; son Raymond George Hart (wife Tina) of Waterville, PA; sister Joanne Stapleton; brothers Fred Hart and George Hart; as well as 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends. At request of the deceased, a public Memorial Service will take place at a later date. If so desired, Memorial Contributions in Arlie’s name can be made to the Faith United Methodist Church in Woodbury. Arrangements by Weaver Funeral Home, LLC; Woodbury.
