Ashtin Drew Caruso

Ashtin Drew Caruso, 18, of Martinsburg, passed away unexpectedly, Monday morning, June 2, 2025 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.
He was born in Johnstown, son of Jason D. and Patricia “Patti”A. (Rogers) Caruso.
Surviving are his parents of Martinsburg; three brothers: Domenick L. Minnoia of Altoona, his twin, Aydin L. Caruso and Braydin R. Caruso both at home; girlfriend, Lily of Portage; great-grandmother, Peggy Carnill of Hollidaysburg; grandparents: Raymond and Sharon Caruso of Martinsburg and Helen M. Rogers of Roaring Spring; and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
Ashtin was a 2025 graduate of Central High School, Martinsburg and a 2025 graduate of GACTC, where he completed the HVAC program and received the Earl Smithmyer Jr. Memorial Award.
He was currently employed at Wal-Mart in East Freedom but had accepted a position to begin working at Link Service Heating and Cooling, Duncansville. While in school, Ashtin assisted Frank Miller of Miller’s Heating, where he developed his passion to work in the HVAC industry.
Ashtin was a member of the Martinsburg Church of God, Martinsburg Sportsman’s Club and a former member of the local Cub Scouts.
He loved spending time with his family, playing baseball, fishing and hunting. Ashtin also enjoyed lending a hand to family and friends and working hard to succeed in his life’s goals.
A celebration of life picnic for Ashtin will begin at 2pm, Sunday, June 8, 2025 at the Caruso's home, 109 N. Nicodemus St., Martinsburg, PA 16662. A brief memorial ceremony will begin at 3pm, followed by a meal and sharing of stories. Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.
Contributions in memory of Ashtin may be given to the GACTC, 1500 4th Ave., Altoona, PA 16602, to help establish a scholarship in his honor.
