B. Jeannette Dunn, 91, of Altoona, went home to be with her Lord, Thursday evening, September 21, 2023, at UPMC Altoona.

She was born in O’Keene, OK., a daughter of the late Bernard and Vivian (Baker) Dill. On May 21, 1955, she married Donald Robert Dunn in Altoona. He preceded her in death October 7, 2022, after 67 years of marriage.

Surviving are two sons: Steven L. Dunn (Sue), of Altoona and Mark A. Dunn (Cathy), of Bear, DE; seven grandchildren: Chad Miller (Jessica), Scott Miller (Jess), Ashley Dunn, Adam Dunn, Aaron Dunn, Elisabeth Morrison (George), and Blair Harrington; eleven great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Janie Beck; and a lifelong friend, Joanne Straw.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lori Miller and her son-in-law, Jeff Miller.

Jeannette was a graduate of Altoona High School and worked at Sylvania.

She was a former member of Calvary Baptist Church, Altoona and a member Foot of Ten Baptist Church, Duncansville. Jeannette loved serving the Lord and spending time with her family. She was a true prayer warrior, who devoted time each day to pray for her family.

Jeannette enjoyed baking and sharing her apple dumplings and chocolate and peanut butter fudge. She also enjoyed playing board games and card games, such as Uno and Yahtzee, with her grandchildren.

At the request of the deceased all services will be private and interment will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery, Altoona.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Jeannette may be given to Precious Life, 1716 12th Avenue, Altoona, PA 16601.
