B. Corina Frye, 42, of rural Williamsburg, went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly Sunday morning at her home.
She was born in Roaring Spring, daughter of Robert E. and Nellie Jean (Stultz) Frye.
Surviving are 2 sons: Trenton and Trevor, both at home; her parents, with whom she resided; a brother, Jeff (Lisa) of Altoona; 3 special nephews: Josh, Austin and Carson; and many numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and clients.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Ed and Alice Frye; her maternal grandparents: Robert “Pete” and Dorothy “Dolly” Stultz; and an uncle, Bill Stultz.
Known as “Boops” to many (named by her dad), Corina was a 1992 graduate of Williamsburg High School, where she was named Prom and Homecoming queen. She then graduated from a beauty/barber school in Harrisburg, before earning her teacher’s/manager’s license from the Altoona Beauty School in 1994.
She owned and operated the “Sharper Image” beauty and barber shop, Huntingdon, for many years.
Corina was a member of Grace Pointe Community Church, Williamsburg.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, and loved her sons.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 am Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Grace Pointe Community Church, Williamsburg, with Bishop Dennis Pruitt, Pastor Tiffany Marvich, Pastor Joe Weber, and Pastor James Snyder officiating. Interment will follow at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.
