Barbara E. Snyder

Barbara Eyvonne Snyder, 74, Williamsburg, passed away late Tuesday at UPMC Altoona following an extended illness.
She was born in rural Williamsburg, daughter of the late Robert J. and Frances F. (Reigh) Dell. She married William B. “Bill” Snyder on March 8, 1969 in Winchester, VA. Bill preceded her in death on October 23, 1999.
Surviving are 4 daughters: Sheryl A. Crownover (Randy) of Allensville, Karen E. Rhodes (Mark), and Tammy L. Laratonda all of Hollidaysburg, and Teresa K. Keller (Dave) of Williamsburg; a son, Randall E. Peck (Lynn) of Williamsburg; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Darlene Zehner and Nancy Brantner; and a brother, Stanley Grove all of Williamsburg; and special friends: Barbara Evans and Sue Liebal. She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Melvin.
She attended Williamsburg High School and was a member of Cove Forge United Methodist Church, rural Williamsburg.
Barbara retired as a fork lift operator in 1999 from Fonda Group & Container, Williamsburg after 33 years of service.
She enjoyed playing bingo, socializing with the OIP Coffee Club, and loved spending time with her family and her two best buddies Gizzy and Holly.
Friends will be received from 5-8 pm, Friday, May 1, 2015 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 am, Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Cove Forge United Methodist Church, rural Williamsburg, Pastor Heather A. Hughes officiating. Private interment will follow at Williamsburg Lutheran Cemetery.
The family prefers memorial contributions be given to the Crossroads, Williamsburg.
