Barbara A. Replogle, 71, Altoona formerly of Martinsburg, passed away Saturday morning at her home.

She was born in Baltimore, MD, daughter of the late Landis and Catherine (Amrhein) Leonard. She married Gerald R. Replogle on June 15, 1963 in Williamsburg.

Surviving are her beloved husband of 52 years; 2 sons: Dean G. (Trisha) of Columbus, GA and Daryl R. (Kathleen) of James Creek; 4 grandchildren: Justin, Tara, Daryl and Meghan; and a brother, Ronald of Niles, OH.

She was preceded in death by an infant sister.

Barbara was a 1962 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and earned her LPN degree through the Altoona Hospital.

She was a member of Martinsburg Church of God and had been employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring and at the State Correctional Institution, Huntingdon, from where she retired.

Barbara was a very creative person, who enjoyed making people laugh and wasn’t done shopping yet.

Friends will be received from 5-8pm, Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Martinsburg Church of God, Dr. Lew I. Button officiating.

The family prefers memorial contributions be given to the American Cancer Society, 1004 N. Juniata St., Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
