Barry L. Kennedy, 63, of Altoona, passed away on November 8, 2017 at UPMC Altoona. Born on July 31, 1954 in Roaring Spring, the son of the late John I. and Esther P. (Bratton) Kennedy. Barry was a 1973 graduate of Altoona High School, was a carpenter for Leonard Fiore Construction, and served his country as a soldier in the National Guard. He was an avid deer and turkey hunter; hunting with his buddies Jimmy Ott, Rich, Bruce, Johnny, and many others. Barry was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Gordon Williams. Surviving are sisters Carol Williams of Ohio and Sandra McClellan (husband, John) of Lakemont. At request of the deceased, no services will be held.
