Bernadine M. “Deanie” Isenberg

Bernadine M. “Deanie” Isenberg, 90, rural Williamsburg passed away Monday morning at UPMC Altoona.
She was born in Mt. Etna, rural Williamsburg, daughter of the late M. Calvin and Mary Martha (Gwin) Reigh. Deanie was also preceded in death by her step-mother, Mabel Reigh. On January 22, 1943 she married Raymond C. Isenberg in Elkton, MD. He preceded her in death on November 27, 2011.
Surviving are 2 sons: Raymond Barry (Mary Ann) and Kevin A. (Linda) both of Williamsburg; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and many special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Clinton Allen, who passed away August 8, 1986; a brother, Mahlon; and 4 sisters: Martha, Gladys, Erma, and Hazel.
Mrs. Isenberg attended Williamsburg High School and later received her G.E.D. from the Altoona High School.
She was a member of Grace Pointe Community Church the former Williamsburg Church of God. Deanie retired in 1987 as a packer from Westvaco, Williamsburg and had previously worked at Blair Grove Grocery, Williamsburg.
Deanie loved her dog, Coco and enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and watching humming birds.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8pm, Friday, November 25, 2016 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg and from 1:30pm until the 2:30 pm funeral service, Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Grace Pointe Community Church, Williamsburg, Bishop Dennis J. Pruitt officiating. Interment will be held at Royer Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.
The family prefers memorial contributions be given to her church or the Williamsburg Ambulance Club.
