BETTY (KENSINGER) REPLOGLE, 83, Of Homewood at Martinsburg, formerly of rural Roaring Spring. Died 03/12/2014 at the Nason Hospital. The daughter of Vera (Brumbaugh) and E. Ralph Kensinger, born March 15, 1930 in Martinsburg, PA
May 11, 1948 married John Replogle. He died Aug. 25, 1992.
She was a member of the Woodbury Brethren in Christ Church and retired as a Dairy Farmer, she was a 1948 Grad of Morrisons Cove High School, and she enjoyed spending time with her large and extended family, reading her Bible and playing the piano.
She is survived by 4 daughters; Elaine Tessier of Corapolis, PA, Peggy McMullen of Roaring Spring, Beverly Horton of Woodbury, Sharon Smith of Chesterfield, Virginia; 3 sons: Ronald of Martinsburg, Daniel at home, and Robert of Roaring Spring; 17 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Esther Emeigh of Roaring Spring and a brother, Earl Kensinger of Roaring Spring.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a granddaughter Rachel Replogle, sister Phyllis Fink, sister Pauline Snider, and brother Byron Kensinger.
Friends received: 5-8 pm Friday the 14th and 10-11am Saturday the 15th all at the Martinsburg Brethren in Christ Church where an 11am service will be held by Pastor Russel Wilson and Rev. Lee Ritchey. Interment in the Dry Hill Cemetery, Woodbury. Memorials maybe made to the Homewood Auxiliary. Arrangements by the S. Gerald Weaver Funeral Home, Woodbury.
