Betty L. Baker

Betty L. Baker, 81, of New Enterprise, passed away on April 21, 2022 at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center, Roaring Spring. She was born on December 11, 1940 in Roaring Spring; daughter of the late Charles A. and V. Romaine (Replogle) Baker. Betty was a Class of 1958 Graduate of Northern Bedford High School and attended the Altoona School of Commerce. She retired from New Enterprise Stone & Lime Company in the Personnel Department. Betty loved her church, the New Enterprise Church of the Brethren, and served as a deacon. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert E. “Bob” Baker and a sister, Carol Hess. Surviving is brother, C. William Baker (Rita) of New Enterprise; sister, Donna Myers (Glen) of Hershey; twin sister, Belva Slagenweit (Paul) of Everett; sister, Linda Lamb of Michigan; and great-nephew, Collin Hess. Friends will be received on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 10:00AM until the 11:00AM funeral service at the New Enterprise Church of the Brethren; Rev. Marlys Hershberger will be officiating. Interment will be in Dry Hill Cemetery. If so desired, Memorial Contributions in Betty’s name can be made to the New Enterprise Church of the Brethren.
