Betty M. Isenberg, 88, St. Andrews Village, Indiana, PA formerly of Williamsburg went home to be with the Lord, Friday morning at Indiana Regional Medical Center, after an extended illness.
She was born in Williamsburg, daughter of the late Wilbur A. and J. Marie (Stevens) Nead. Betty had previously been married to the late Juette O. Isenberg.
Surviving are 2 daughters: Delores J. Beaver (Ned) of Homer City and Karen J. Frye (Larry) of Clappertown; a daughter-in- law, Donna J. Isenberg of Homer City; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers: Eugene Nead (Nancy) in Conn., George Nead (Dottie) of Roaring Spring, and Robert Nead (Sharon) of Altoona; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Juette O. Isenberg II and 2 sisters: Beverly Beach and Darlene Fonner.
Betty was employed as a Nurse’s Assistant for Valley View Home, Altoona with 28 years of service.
She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren here on earth but now she is with her loving Lord in heaven.
Friends will be received from 6-8pm, Monday, June 20, 2016 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 am, Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the funeral home, Pastor Vaughn R. Kanagy officiating.
Interment will be held at Royer Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.
The family prefers memorial contributions be given to Williamsburg Public Library, 511 W. Second St., Williamsburg, PA 16693.
