Beverly A. (Miller) Ritchey

Beverly A. Ritchey, 85, of Woodbury, passed away on March 28, 2025 at her home. She was born on April 1, 1939 at the Mercy Hospital of Altoona; the daughter of the late, Brice R. and Dorothy M. (Ritter) Miller. On October 10, 1959 at the Woodbury Church of the Brethren, she was united in marriage to E. Herman Ritchey, who survives.

Beverly was a graduate of Woodbury High School Class of 1957 and the Altoona Beauty School. She worked as a telephone operator, beautician, and homemaker.

Beverly was a member of the Woodbury Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed spending time with her family, serving Jesus and others in church and community, entertaining, knitting, sewing, quilting, scrapbooking, painting, cooking, and baking.

Surviving is her husband, E. Herman Ritchey; son, Christopher L. Ritchey (Amanda) of North East, Pennsylvania; daughter, Bevette R. Lingenfelter (Andy) of Martinsburg, Pennsylvania; son, Peter E. Ritchey (Michelle) of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; 7 grandchildren; and a brother, Dwight Miller of Roaring Spring.

At request of the deceased, no services will be held. Inurnment will be in Dry Hill Cemetery – Woodbury.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions in Beverly’s name may be made to the Woodbury Church of the Brethren (4359 Woodbury Pike Woodbury, PA 16695).
