Brenda S. Hoover, 63, of Williamsburg, passed away unexpectedly, Monday morning, July 6, 2020 at her home.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of Russell L. Crownover of Martinsburg and the late Elma L. (Roub) Crownover.  Brenda was formerly married to R. Dwight Hoover of Addison, NY.

Surviving are a daughter, Kristy S. (Travis) Clowson; a son, Ryan D. Hoover both of Williamsburg; four grandchildren: Maria A. and Brittney L. Weidler, Nathan W. Brown and Sullivan R. Clowson; two sisters: Denise M. Sutton of Leesburg, FL and Renee E. (Stephen) Wilson of Bedford; and three brothers: Randall A. Crownover of Furlong, Keith R. (Lori) Crownover of Hollidaysburg and Darren W. (Kelly) Crownover of Coupeville, WA.

Brenda was a 1975 graduate of Williamsburg High School and worked for many years on her family’s farm.  She also was employed at Kings Family Restaurant and The Casino at Lakemont Park, both in Altoona.

She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and also enjoyed reading and completing adult coloring books.

Friends will be received from 6-8pm, Thursday, July 9, 2020 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg.   A funeral service will be held at 11am, Friday, July 10, 2020 at the funeral home, Pastor Philip Cherry officiating.  Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
