OBIT.
BRICE (GENE) E. MILLER, 79, Of Woodbury. Died 09/10/2013 at Altoona Health South. Born 07/28/1934 in Woodbury the son of Brice R. and Dorothy (Ritter) Miller then after his death she married John Bechtel. Gene, married Joyce M. Miller on 05/27/1955 in Woodbury. He was a member of the Woodbury Church of the Brethren. He retired as a shop supervisor at the New Enterprise Stone and Lime Co. after 38 years of service. He was a member of the Cove Lions Club since1960 where he held many offices, he was the Mayor of Woodbury for 28 years, on the town council for 8 years and the water commissioner for 20 years, and a long time member of the Ravers Gap Sportsman club.
Survivors: his wife and two sons Doug Miller and wife Diane of Roaring Spring Ken Miller and wife Barbara of Martinsburg one sister Beverly Ritchey of Woodbury RD and three brothers Jake Miller, George (Mose) Wayne Miller both of Woodbury, Dwight Miller of Roaring Spring, four grandchildren Erin, Devin, Blake and Vincent.
Friends received Tue Sept 17th 6-7 pm at the Woodbury Church of the Brethren where a Memorial Service will be held by Rev Larry Graybill a Lions service will be held at 6:30. Arrangements by the S. Gerald Weaver Funeral Home, Woodbury.
