Calvin C. Brumbaugh, 71, rural Martinsburg, passed away Monday evening, December 2, 2019 at UPMC Altoona.

He was born in Huston Township, rural Martinsburg, son of the late Merle C. and Pauline M. (Criswell) Brumbaugh.  On May 31, 1970, he married Janet A. Dell at Salem United Church of Christ, rural Martinsburg.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 49 years: three sons: Andrew L. (Lisa), Matthew C. (Amber), and Chester J.; two daughters: Jill A. Brumbaugh and Beth P. (John) Hickey all of rural Martinsburg; 10 grandchildren; and a sister, Dorcas L. (Ron) Rhodes  of Clappertown.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond H. Brumbaugh.

Calvin was a 1967 graduate of Central High School, Martinsburg and a member of Salem United Church of Christ.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1968-1970 attaining the rank of Specialist 5th Class.  Calvin retired in 2011 as a supervisor from Mead Westvaco, Williamsburg with 46 years of service.

Calvin was a member of Martinsburg Sportsman’s Club and enjoyed hunting, woodworking and gardening.

Friends will be received from 4-7pm, Thursday, December 5, 2019 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.  A graveside service with full military honors will be held at 2pm, Friday, December 6, 2019 at Salem Reformed Church Cemetery, rural Martinsburg, Rev. Jerry McCuller Jr. officiating. A time for remembrance and fellowship will be held at the church following the ceremony.
