Carl Edwin Evans, 92, of Martinsburg, passed away Thursday morning, June 19, 2025, at Homewood at Martinsburg.

He was born in Duncansville, son of the late Neff Foster and Fannie (Perrin) Evans.  On September 6, 1957, he married Donna Jean Bowser at Leamersville Grace Brethren Church.

Surviving are his beloved wife, Donna of 67 years; two children: Valerie J. Adamchak (Matthew) of Allentown and Mark E. Evans (Karen) of Everett.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia L. “Patty” Cummings, and three brothers: William F., James C. and George Evans.

Carl was a 1951 graduate of Milton Hershey Industrial School and worked as an assembly water machine operator at Veeder Root for 15 years before retiring in 1997 as a machinist from Conrail, Juniata Shop.

He attended Puzzletown Road Bible Church and was a former member and Sunday school teacher at Leamersville Grace Brethren Church, Duncansville.

Carl loved spending time with family, flying model airplanes, and enjoyed yard work.

Friends will be received from 2-3pm, Sunday, June 22, 2025 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg, where a funeral service will begin at 3pm, Pastor Jon Gross officiating.  Private interment will be held at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery, Altoona.

Contributions in memory of Carl may be given to Puzzletown Road Bible Church, 316 Puzzletown Rd., Duncansville, PA 16635.
