Carlotta “Lottie” Fisher, 96, resident of The Village at Morrisons Cove, formerly of Williamsburg, went home to be with her Lord, Saturday morning, November 3, 2018 at the home.

She was born in rural Williamsburg, daughter of the late Roland M. and Rhoda E. (Stultz) Clabaugh.  On March 21, 1941 she married John F. Fisher in Winchester, VA and he preceded her in death on January 17, 1997.

Surviving are a son John W. Fisher (wife, Ellen) of Williamsburg; a daughter, Debora J. Fisher of Hollidaysburg; a daughter-in-law, Colleen S. Fisher-Smoyer of Chambersburg; two granddaughters: Robin E. Brantner (husband, Scott) and Susan R. Fisher both of Williamsburg; two great-grandsons: Ryan S. and Owen F. Brantner both of Williamsburg; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Edward Zane Fisher; seven brothers; and six sisters.

Lottie attended the 8th Square one room school house in rural Williamsburg and was a 1940 graduate of Williamsburg High School.  She attended the Williamsburg Christian & Missionary Alliance Church and for many years volunteered at Homewood at Martinsburg and The Village at Morrisons Cove, by leading bible studies for the residents.

Lottie was primarily a homemaker who loved entertaining and spending time with her family and friends who never left her home without being fed.  She also enjoyed sewing, bowling and playing music (which she could play about any instrument).

Friends will be received from 5-8pm, Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg and from 10 until the 11am funeral service, Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Williamsburg Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, Pastors Paul Campbell and Duane White officiating. Interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
