Carol Diane Leamer

Carol Diane Leamer, 79, of Williamsburg, passed away late Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at UPMC Altoona of natural causes.
She was born in Williamsburg, daughter of the late Chester E. and D. Arlene (Showalter) Leamer.
Carol was preceded in death by the love of her life, Joel Michael Shultz, who passed away on March 12, 2019.
Surviving are an aunt, Donna Showalter, wife of the late, Curt Showalter; and many cousins and extended family.
Carol was a 1962 graduate of Williamsburg High School, where she played the flute and piccolo in the Blue Pirate Band and was also a graduate of the Altoona School of Commerce. She was a longtime, faithful member of the First Methodist Church of Williamsburg.
She worked nearly 40 years in the Railroad Industry and retired from Berwind Railway Service Co., with 32 years of service.
Carol loved antiquing, completing word puzzles, and also enjoyed watching college basketball and Penn State and Steelers football.
At Carol’s request there with be no viewing, however family and friends are invited for a 2pm graveside service, Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Royer Cemetery, rural Williamsburg. Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg.
