Chad Nicholas Skinner, 23, of Williamsburg, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday afternoon, June 27, 2021 at Canoe Creek State Park, Hollidaysburg, following a swimming accident.

He was born in Altoona, son of Jackie M. Jr. and Christine E. (Richardson) Skinner.

Surviving are his parents of Williamsburg; a son, Chad N. Skinner Jr. at home; two brothers: Jack M Skinner III of Duncansville and Zachery A. Skinner of Williamsburg; and a girlfriend Bridgett E. Ross of Williamsburg.

Chad was a 2016 graduate of Williamsburg High School.  He was currently working as a trash slinger for Burgmeier’s Hauling Inc., Altoona and previously was employed at Cove Shoe Factory in Martinsburg.

He loved spending time with his family, especially his son, Chad Jr. and also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Friends will be received from 4-7pm, Thursday, July 1, 2021 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg, where a time of remembrance will follow at 7pm.

Memorial contributions may be given to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
