Charles Robert “Chuck” Corle, 77, of Hollidaysburg, passed peacefully Monday morning, June 3, 2024, at Select Specialty Hospital, Johnstown.

He was born in Baltimore, MD, a son of the late Charles Cletus and Mary Jane (Hall) Corle.

Surviving are a sister, Barbara Lee Corle of Oxford, NJ; a special aunt, Virginia Sell of Roaring Spring; two cousins: Sheila Yingling (Todd) of Roaring Spring and Cynthia Hardwick of Des Moines, IA; and a longtime friend, Laurie Turner of Florida.

Chuck was a 1965 graduate of West Genesee Senior High School, Camillus, NY. After graduation, he proudly served in the United States Navy as an electronics technician from June 1965 to August 1971. Chuck retired as the head electrician for Buccaneer Resort in St. Croix, Virgin Islands, with over 20 years of service.

His family and faith were extremely important throughout his life. Chuck enjoyed reading and watching television.

A graveside service with full military honors will begin at 11am, Friday, June 7, 2024, at Dry Hill Cemetery, Woodbury, Pastor Traci Marriott officiating.

Memorial contributions can be given to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 115 East Penn Street, Martinsburg, PA 16662.
