OBIT.

CHARLES FRANKLIN KING, 85, Of Frosty Hollow Road, Died 03/14/2014 at his home after an extended Progressive Illness due to A.L.S. Born 09/01/1928 in Salemville the son of Robert M. and S. Edythe (Miller) King. Married Grace A. (Imler) on July 12, 1952 in Cumberland MD she died 10/06/1997. He was a member of the German Seventh Day Baptist of Salemville and attended the Woodbury Church of the Brethren of Woodbury. He was employed at General Refractories, Replogle Motors then retired from NES+L Co. after 40 years of service. Attended Replogle, Moses Schools and Grad in 1946 from Bedford High School. He enjoyed Hunting, fishing, Trapping with family at home and at his camp in Cameron Co. He was a Volunteer for the American Red Cross and for Bon Secours Hospital.
He is survived by one daughter Carol A. Bowser and one son Steven Charles King and wife Linda, one sister Peggy Weyandt of the Morrisons Cove Home. 3 grandchildren James E. Bowser Jr. Timothy and wife Heather Bowser and Michael and wife Ashley Bowser. 5 Great-Grandchildren – Caurtney, Sarah, Remington, Josiah and Emalee Bowser. Proceded in death by two brothers Robert King Jr. and Joseph King and a Nephew Robert King III Grand Parents Frank and Myrtle King and Charles and Mae Mille all of new Enterprise.
Friends Received 6-8 PM Monday the 17th at the S. Gerald Weaver Funeral Home and 10-11am Tue the 18th at the Woodbury Church of the Brethren where an 11am service will be held by Pastor Larry Graybill and Eric Martin. Interment in the Dry Hill Cemetery. Memorials maybe made to the Woodlbury Church of the Brethren youth group or the Church of your choice. Arrangements by the S. Gerald Weaver Funeral Home, Woodbury.
