C. David Lingenfelter 55, of Bakers Summit, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at his residence. He was born in Roaring Spring a son of the late Charles L. “Cappy” Lingenfelter and Peggy A. (Guyer) Boyd. He is survived by three children: Allison Clark and husband Alex, of Bolivia, NC, Caplin Lingenfelter, of Clappertown, and Sydney Nugent and husband Dylan, of Oklahoma City, OK; three grandchildren: Abram, Anders, and Archie Clark, and one granddaughter on the way; three siblings: Mark “Cappy” Lingenfelter and wife Trisha, of Hopewell, Kelly Smith and husband Kevin, of New Enterprise, and Dana Givler and husband Bill, of Duncansville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

David was a 1988 graduate of Central High School. He enjoyed watching football, especially the Green Bay Packers, and was instrumental in starting the Panther Youth Football League for Northern Bedford School District.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 11:00 am at Fink & Stone Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Martinsburg, with Pastor Chris Garretson officiating. Private interment at Dry Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Panther Youth Football League (PYFL), c/o Conner Kagarise, 113 Steel Drive, Hopewell, PA 16650.
