Charles Orville Ott, 53, of Woodbury, passed away on July 6, 2023 at his home. He was born on March 11, 1970 in Wayne, MI; son of Charles W. and Mary Kathryn (Smith) Ott. On January 4, 1992 in Martinsburg, he was united in marriage to Monica L. (Lafferty) Ott.

Chuck was a Class of 1988 Graduate of Northern Bedford High School and served his country as a member of the United States Navy. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, carpentry projects, and golfing with family.

Chuck was a volunteer for the Southern Cove Ambulance Service and board member of the Southern Cove Volunteer Fire Company. He received a Cardiac Save Award on November 4, 2017. Chuck was currently employed by Hollidaysburg American Legion Ambulance as an EMT.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles W. Ott; a brother, Jacob Levi Ott; a sister-in-law, Karla Smith; a brother-in-law, David Gracey, Jr.; and a nephew, Dakota Ott. Surviving is his wife, Monica; daughter, Ariel Shope (Skyler) of Woodbury; daughter, Kieren Shope (Samuel) of New Enterprise; son, Chase Ott (Rebecca) of Martinsburg; inherited son, Tyler Oswalt (Michaela Burkett) of Woodbury; daughter, Jade Replogle and son, Daryl Replogle of Duncansville; grandchildren, Kayden, Jace, and Emma Shope, Hazel and Cash Shope, Zeppelin Ott, Jaxon Heiberg, Malcom, Azalea, and Rhea Oswalt, Aneira and Eris Corbin, and Haven Replogle; sister, Amanda Gracey; sister, Melinda Miller (Samuel); sister, Brenda Michael (Josh); brother, Timothy Smith (Shynne Moore); brother, Heath Ott; brother-in-law Richard Lafferty (Cindy); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Monday, July 10, 2023 from 9:00AM-12:00PM with a Funeral Service beginning at 1:00PM. All of the above will be held at the New Enterprise Church of the Brethren.

If so desired, Memorial Contributions in Chuck’s name may be given to Stone Funeral Home to help the family with final funeral expenses.
