Cheryl Jane Crawford, 62, Hesston, passed away Thursday afternoon, May 17, 2018 at UPMC Pinnacle, Harrisburg.

She was born in Huntingdon, daughter of the late Benjamin F. Lear and Verna Mae (Beck) Lear-Garber. Cheryl was married to the late Robert C. Crawford.

Surviving are two sons: Robert C. Lear (wife, Amanda) and Travis W. Crawford (wife, Brooke) both of Huntingdon; five grandchildren: Destiny, Damon and Maylia Lear & Chase and Mara Crawford; three sisters: Patricia A. Blankenship (husband, Harold) of Bridgewater, VA, Debra K. Garber (husband, Marvin) of Hesston and Mae Louise Lear of Huntingdon.

Cheryl grew up in Williamsburg, where she attended a Baptist church.  After high school she attained a license in cosmetology and later worked as a dairy farmer and nurse’s aide while living in Virginia.

She loved having cookouts and spending time with her family, Cheryl also enjoyed crocheting.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date and arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg.

The family prefers contributions in memory of Cheryl be given to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
