CHRISTINE A. CARPER, LOOSE 79, Of  Martinsburg, died 08/24/2013 at home. Born 02/07/34 in Woodbury. The daughter of Harry T. and Anna (Philips) Snavely. First married to Richard E. Carper on 11/14/54 who died 11/13/1984 then Married Richard H. Loose on 04/21/1995. Grad. From Woodbury High School in 52 and Altoona School of Commerce in 53. Her interests: Church Pianist and Pianist at the Village at Morrisons Cove, quilting, gardening, devoted to her family, friends and church.
Survivors: Her husband, two daughters Robyn Blumling, husband Robert of Hummelstown, Elaine Slagenweit, husband Eric of Roaring Spring. One son randy of Cranberry, PA, stepson J. Richard Loose and wife Denise of Martinsburg. four grandchildren Kristi James, husband Jonnie of Iowa city Iowa, Todd Carper and Mark Carper, wife Megan all of Gettysburg, Ryan Slagenweit and Zachary Slagenweit both of Roaring Spring, Allison Blumling and Erin Blumling both of Hummelstown, PA Step grandchildren Matt Loose wife Tiffany of Fredericktown, OH, Christy Imler and husband Craig of Raphine VA, Nick Ritz and wife Jeanine of Virginia Beach VA, Chris Ritz and wife (Erin) of Allison Park, PA and Kathrine Plaxton and husband Mike of Belgium. Great grandchildren Kera and Malorie James Step Great Great grandchildren Branden, Conner and Dawson Loose, Jordan and Reagan Imler, Nick, Kaleigh, Jacob, Natalie, Madeline Ritz, Elizabeth Anna and Christopher Ritz and Daniel Plaxton. Preceded in death by bother Robert Snavely  and daughter in law Donna Carper.
Friends received 5-8 pm Tues. the 27th at the S. Gerald Weaver FH and 10 – 11am Wed. the 28th at the Woodbury Church of the Brethren where an 11am service will be held by Rev. Larry Graybill.
