Clarence Eugene Diehl, 81, Altoona, passed away Thursday morning, January 31, 2019, at UPMC Altoona.

He was born in Hollidaysburg, son of the late Glenn S. and Lula I. (Clark) Diehl.

Surviving are two brothers: William Diehl of Hollidaysburg and Ronald Diehl of Emporium; four sisters: Mary Beatty of Hollidaysburg, Thelma Still of Tyrone, Sarah Havenstine and Elda Fay Wurth, both of Altoona; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Anna McKinley; and three brothers: George, John and Alfred Diehl.

Clarence attended a one-room school house in Frankstown. He was previously employed at Joe Krentzman & Sons Inc., Hollidaysburg, and more recently worked at Charles Caracciolo Steel & Metal Yard Inc., Altoona.

He loved spending time with his family, playing bingo and also enjoyed fishing.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no public services.
