Clifford “Cliff” Frank Hart Jr., 83, Duncansville, passed away Thursday evening, at UPMC Altoona.

He was born in Altoona, son of the late Clifford Sr. and Mary (Gutshall) Hart.  He married Dorothy R. Mowery on June 2, 1954 in Winchester, VA.  She preceded him in death on June 4, 1984.

Surviving are 2 sons: Randy L. (Cindy) and Larry E. both of Duncansville; a daughter, Susan D. Harris (Albert) of Covington, VA; 2 grandchildren: Kristi Tolley and Justin Harris; 5 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Alice Hart.

He was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Phyllis Mitchell and Frances Garver.

Cliff was a 1951 graduate of Altoona High School and a former member of the Junior Mechanics, Altoona Chapter.

He retired in 1996 as a quality control technician from Appleton Papers Inc., Roaring Spring with 30 years of service.

Cliff was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War attaining the rank of Corporal.

He enjoyed bowling, fishing, metal detecting, and watching the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Friends will be received from 1:30 until the 3pm funeral service, Sunday, September 20, 2015 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg, Pastor Lee D. Saylor officiating.  Private interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.

The family prefers memorial contributions be given to the Wounded Warrior Project.
