Joanne Hileman

     Cora Joanne Hileman 85, of Williamsburg, passed away early Saturday, July 25, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was one of twelve children, born in Hollidaysburg to the late Harold and Dessa (Garman) Neely. On March 9, 1963 in Winchester, VA she married Kenneth Hileman Sr. In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children: Tammy Hileman, of Williamsburg, Lisa Palmer and husband Russell, of Williamsburg, Kenneth Hileman Jr., and companion Tracey of DuBois, Melissa Saylor, of Martinsburg, and Kristina Lynn and husband Todd, of Canoe Creek; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren: and three sisters: Betty Butler widow of Pete of Martinsburg, Patty Woomer and husband James, of Hollidaysburg, and Margaret “Peg” Oakes widow of Gerald, of Casa Grande, AZ. She was preceded in death by eight siblings: Harold “Sonny”, Joseph, William, Donnie, Robert, and Jack Neely, and Eva Catherine Keller, and Carol Caldwell.

     Joanne was a 1959 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She spent much of her life as a homemaker while also caring for her brother, Robert, for over 30 years. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. In her free time, she enjoyed camping, bird watching and watching the chippies run across the road in front of the house. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Michelle Carper and Jennifer McCoy of Gentiva Hospice for the care Joanne received.

Funeral services will be private.
