Crystal Marie Wyland, 63, of rural Williamsburg and currently residing in Queen, passed away early Saturday morning, September 4, 2021 at UPMC Altoona, following a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Bellefonte, daughter of, Sandra F. (Miller) Meyers-Fleegle and the late Harry R. "Butch" Meyers and was raised by her mother and Charles William Fleegle of Queen.  On October 25, 1978 she married David B. Wyland Jr. in Hollidaysburg. He preceded her in death on June 1, 2017, after 38 wonderful years of marriage.

Surviving are a son, Jesse D. Wyland (Carole) of Fredericktown (Washington County); a daughter, Sandra M. Swope (Rodney) of King; seven grandchildren: Taylor, Jack, Lillian and Allison Wyland and Joshua, Leah and Abigail Swope; a sister, Robin D. Stern (Donnie) of Martinsburg; and a brother, Joseph R. Meyers (Sharon) of rural Martinsburg.

Crystal was a 1976 graduate of Williamsburg High School and also completed the Certified Medical Assistant program through the Computer Learning Network.  She retired as a medical secretary from J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon, with 20 years of service and was previously employed at various doctor’s offices in Altoona.

She attended the Williamsburg Church of God for many years and more recently the Claysburg Church of God.  Crystal loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She also enjoyed playing bingo, reading, baking and decorating cakes and vacationing with her family at the beach.

Friends will be received from 5-8pm, Thursday, September 9, 2021 at the Claysburg Church of God and from 10 until 11am funeral service, Friday, September 10, 2021 at the church, Pastor Kim Swindell officiating.  Private interment will be held at Royer Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.  Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg.
