D. Jean (Replogle) Kensinger

D. Jean Kensinger, 84, of Martinsburg, formerly of Woodbury, passed away on December 31, 2017 at Homewood at Martinsburg. She was born on May 4, 1933 in Roaring Spring, the daughter of the late John and Emma (Lower) Replogle. On July 30, 1952 she married Donald G. Kensinger. He preceded her in death on May 1, 2003. Jean was a member of the Woodbury Church of the Brethren where she was involved in numerous church activities and the choir. She enjoyed reading, sewing, and music. Above all, Jean centered her life around her family. Surviving children include Lisa L. Gearhart (Alan) of Martinsburg; Ronald D. Kensinger (Joan) of Woodbury; Susan M. Snyder (Samuel) of Shreve, OH; and Melody A. Hoover (Todd) of Woodbury. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received on Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 9:00AM-11:00AM. At 11:00AM a funeral service will take place. All of the above will be held at the Woodbury Church of the Brethren.
