Dakota Austin Ott

Dakota Austin Ott, 22, of Roaring Spring, formerly of Six Mile Run, went home to be with his Lord on May 26, 2018. He was born on January 4, 1996 in Altoona, son of Jennifer (Hershey) and the late Jacob Ott. Dakota was a 2015 graduate of Tussey Mountain High School. He was previously employed by Champion Home Builders in Claysburg. Dakota enjoyed music, especially playing his bass or listening to his favorite band, the Foo Fighters. He was an animal lover whether it be his horse Tonka, dog Maddox, or his tropical fish. Most of all, Dakota enjoyed the time he spent with his family. He was preceded in death by his father Jacob and grandfather Charles Ott. Surviving are his mother Jennifer Rhodes of Duncansville; step-father Thomas Rhodes Jr. of Six Mile Run; maternal grandparents Kenneth and Veronica Hershey of Roaring Spring; paternal grandmother Mary Ott of Altoona; siblings Jade Corbin, Katelyn Ott, Jarred Rhodes, and Taige Holland; as well as numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. Friends will be received on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 10:00AM-1:00PM. At 1:00PM a funeral service will take place with Pastor John Telyea officiating.
