Daniel R. Bookhammer, 52, of Williamsburg, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 20, 2023.

He was born on August 28, 1970, son of Ronald R. and Marsha Ann (Conrad) Bookhammer. He was previously married to Rebel Tate.

Surviving along with his parents are three children: Kelsie Lego (Richard), Camryn Miller (Adam), and Trey Bookhammer (Olivia) all of Williamsburg; two grandchildren: Ryker and Kassidy; a brother, Shawn Bookhammer (Megan) of Tampa, Florida; and two grand-puppies, Huck and Barkley.

Dan was a 1988 graduate of Williamsburg High School. He started working for Shy Beaver Boat Center at 16 years old and has worked there full-time for 36 years, as a marine mechanic.

He enjoyed hiking and being outdoors in nature. Dan most especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

There will no services held per the request of the deceased.

Family suggests memorial donations in honor of Dan be made to Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation, 132 State Park Road, Schellsburg, PA 15559.
