Daniel Lee “Jake” Dopp

Daniel Lee “Jake” Dopp, 59, of Williamsburg, passed away Thursday morning, January 23, 2025 at UPMC Altoona.

He was born in Altoona son of the late Daniel Carey Dopp and Jane M. (Strayer) Dopp-Bollman.  Jake was also preceded in death by his step-father, Roger Bollman.

Surviving are two children: Iyccah Stone and Dani Dopp; six step-children: Chris Claycomb (Ashley), Irvin Claycomb (Courtney), Crystal Hufford, Tiffany Claycomb, Patty Shuck and Betty Claycomb; numerous grandchildren;  a nephew, Blane Ross (Miranda Mountz); and three siblings: Patty Cunningham, Tina Richardson and Heath Dopp.

Jake was a 1986 graduate of Williamsburg High School.  He was a scrap and junk man around town and also worked for two scrap yards over the years.

He loved spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and scrapping. Jake also enjoyed watching television. Some of his favorites were the Andy Griffith Show and Monk.

At Jake’s request there will be no services and arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg.  Private inurnment will be held at Sparr Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.

Contributions in memory of Jake may be given to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
