Daniel L. Hart

Daniel L. Hart, 74, of Woodbury, passed away on August 6, 2018 at UPMC Altoona. He was born on February 5, 1944 in Huntingdon, son of the late Walter Scott and Emma Elsie (Whitfield) Hart. On March 20, 1971 at the New Enterprise Church of the Brethren, he married Cathy Jo Koontz. Daniel was a self-employed truck driver and his wife and children were his life. He enjoyed horseback riding and his dogs, especially Mickey.  Daniel was a lifetime member of the Shady Trail Riding Club. Surviving is his wife Cathy Jo; son Scott Hart (wife, Kathy) of Woodbury; daughter Jolene Black (husband, Chuck) of New Enterprise; son Jason Hart (girlfriend, Jackie Kimberling) of New Enterprise; sister JoeAnn Stapleton; and brothers George, Fred, and Arlie Hart. He was preceded in death by 7 brothers and sisters. Friends will be received on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 4:00-8:00PM at the Weaver Funeral Home in Woodbury. Funeral Service will be private.
