Daniel "Wayne" Carper

Daniel “Wayne” Carper, 76, of Hollidaysburg, passed away on August 6, 2018 after a brief illness at his home. He was born on April 22, 1942 in Woodbury, son of the late James and Naomi (Miller) Carper. Wayne was a member of the Reservoir Bible Church and the Duncansville VFW. He enjoyed farming and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Wayne was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Henry. Surviving are son Brian Carper of Hollidaysburg; son Andy Carper of Hollidaysburg; daughter Danyel Carper (Thomas Wareham) of Roaring Spring; sister Joyce Bush (Don) of Martinsburg; brother Bob Carper (Belinda) of Martinsburg; brother Steve Carper of Claysburg; former wife and mother of children, Reida Carper; grandchildren Austin, Miranda, and Abigail Carper and Levi Wareham; and friend Karen Wagner. Friends will be received on Thursday, August 9th from 4:00-8:00PM and Friday, August 10th from 10:00-11:00AM. At 11:00AM Friday, a funeral service will take place with Pastor J. Brant Leidy officiating. All of the above will be held at the Martinsburg Grace Brethren Church (300 S. Mulberry St. Martinsburg, PA 16662).
