David H. Brumbaugh 73, of Roaring Spring, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at his residence. He was born in Dixon, IL a son of the late Norman Holsinger and Martha Elizabeth (Negley) Brumbaugh. On July 19, 1980 in Altoona, he married Christine (Myers) Brumbaugh who survives along with four children: Elizabeth Detwiler, of Woodbury, Deeanna Trigona and husband Michael, of Johnstown, Kenneth Brumbaugh and significant other Courtney, of Altoona, and Katherine Roudabush and husband Donald Jr., of East Freedom; nine grandchildren: Meghan, Allison, Izy, Haven, Abigail, Dominic, David, Ashlynn, and Honor; three siblings: Daniel A. Brumbaugh and wife Jane, Irene Piper and husband Rick, and Lois Lynn widow of Jerry; and six nieces and nephews: Mel, Daniel, Julie, Riki, Jodi, and Aaron. He was preceded in death by a nephew Albert Brumbaugh.
David was a 1970 graduate of Central High School, and a 1973 graduate of Williamson School of Mechanical Trade. His career spanned over 40 years at Blank Book and Paper Products, Roaring Spring, where he held numerous positions throughout his employment. David was also a EMT for AMED Ambulance in Roaring Spring. He and his wife were active members of the Roaring Spring First Church of the Brethren, and David served as a Deacon and Usher for over 35 years.
Friends and family will be received on Friday, April 10, 2026 from 11 am to 1 pm and from 3 pm until the 4 pm memorial service at the Roaring Spring First Church of the Brethren, with Rev. Dr. David Crumrine officiating. Contributions may be made in David’s name to the Roaring Spring First Church of the Brethren, 901 Bloomfield Road, Roaring Spring, PA 16673; or Heifer International.
