David M. Young

David M. Young, 71, of Hollidaysburg, formerly of Martinsburg, passed away on June 2, 2022 at the Hollidaysburg Veterans’ Home. He was born on May 11, 1951 in Stoystown; son of the late W. Wayne and Lois (Lohr) Young.

David was a graduate of Central High School, United Methodist in faith, and enjoyed playing basketball. He served his country as a member of the United States Army.

David was preceded in death by a brother Jerry W. Young. Surviving is sister Linda L. Barr of Martinsburg and numerous nephews.

At the request of the deceased, services will be held privately. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.

If so desired, Memorial Contributions in David’s name can be made to the Hollidaysburg Veterans’ Home.
