David Edward Shaffer

David Edward Shaffer, 90, a resident of the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home, died Friday evening. He was born in Loysville, son of the late Edward Newton and Anna Marie (Weller) Shaffer. Surviving are a sister, Jane Shaffer Peters of Elizabethtown; nieces and nephews: Sheila, Gail, Ralph, Bret, Diane, Neal, Cynthia, James and Carolyn. He was preceded in death by four sisters. David was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. A private funeral service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
