Dawna L. Frontz, 50, of Martinsburg, formerly of Williamsburg, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, July 14, 2023, at her residence.

She was born in Harrisburg, a daughter of Quentin L. Wenerick and the late Agnes Marie (Foutz) Lear.

Surviving are three children: KaLeacha A. Smith (Josh), Brittanie A. Frontz, and Robert P. Frontz, Jr., all of Williamsburg; six grandchildren: Elliotte A. Smith, Liam H. Palmer, Brentley H. Frontz, Nicholai P. Smith, Rylee A. Palmer, and Noah P. Frontz; two sisters: Sandra G. Wenerick (Mike) and Angela M. Snare, both of Williamsburg; her boyfriend, Kenneth “Chaw” Thomas of Martinsburg; a stepdaughter, Sage Thomas; and numerous extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Maryann Vance and her stepfather, Raymond E. Lear.

Dawna was a 1992 graduate of Williamsburg High School. She was employed as a supervisor and utility worker at Cove Shoe Company, Martinsburg and previously worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at The Village of Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg.

She was a social member of the Bonner-Sollenberger American Legion Post 456, Williamsburg. Dawna loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and also enjoyed completing puzzles and playing with her two dogs, Jack and Sally.

Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 20, 2023, at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc, Williamsburg.
