Delores J. (Clouse) Snyder

Delores J. Snyder, 77, of Manns Choice, passed away on May 31,2017 at Altoona UPMC after a long-term illness. Born on October 23, 1939 in Woodbury the daughter of the late Herman R. and Effie J. (Carper) Clouse. On October 16, 1979 in Winchester Virginia, she married Wilbert C. Snyder. Together they had a beautiful and wonderful marriage until his passing in March of 2006. She was a member of the graduating class from Northern Bedford High School in 1958. Delores enjoyed the sights and sounds of the outdoors and traveling. She was a member of the Bedford County Garden Club, the UPMC Bedford Memorial Ladies Auxiliary, and the Woodbury Church of the Brethren. Surviving is sister Dorothy M. Dodson, husband Lawrence O. (Mike) of East Freedom; half-sister Annie M. Davis of Bedford; half-brother Hartland Clouse of McKee; close personal friend Robert Petrunyak; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant sister, Carol and brother Roy Clouse. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 4th from 4:00PM-8:00PM at the Weaver Funeral Home in Woodbury.  A second visitation will be held on Monday, June 5th from 10:00AM-11:00AM at the Woodbury Church of the Brethren.  Following will be a Funeral Service with Pastor Dave Ulm officiating. Interment at Replogle Cemetery. Memorial Contributions in Delores’s memory can be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children. Arrangements by Weaver Funeral Home, LLC; Woodbury.
