Dennis P. Weise, 73, Roaring Spring, formerly of Queen, passed away unexpectedly Friday evening at UPMC Altoona.
He was born in Foot of Ten, Duncansville, son of the late Lester and Ester (Ott) Weise. He married Marie Luise Hamburger.
Surviving are his beloved wife of Roaring Spring; a daughter, Penny Basom of Jacksonville, NC; 4 sons: Pat (wife, Michelle) of Williamsburg, Mark (Amy Kensinger) of Roaring Spring, Kurt (wife, Karen) of East Freedom; and Bradley of East Freedom; Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren; a sister, Carol (Weise) Herrera (husband, John) of Vista, CA; 2 brothers: Lester (wife, Hazel) of Foot of Ten; Terry (wife, Mary) of Lancaster; and numerous nieces and nephews.
At the request of the deceased there will be no public services and arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.
The family prefers memorial contributions be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society.
