Donald "Don" G. Knarr

Donald “Don” G. Knarr, 79, of Martinsburg, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at his home. He was born on August 9, 1946 in Punxsutawney; son of the late Harry J. and Margaret (McAninch) Knarr. On February 24, 2023 he married Kathryn (Steele) Knarr in Altoona, who survives.

Don retired as a dedicated truck driver, driving for Air Ground Xpress, Inc. He enjoyed trucking, long drives/ road trips, watching nature, and coffee meets with his friends. Don was a man with strong Christian values.

Don was preceded in death by his siblings, Dale and Barbara. Surviving is his wife, Kathryn; son, Brian Knarr (Haydee) of Erie; son, Brad Knarr of Dubois; step-son, Eric Slagenweit (Elaine); step-daughter, Heather Slagenweit (Garrett); step-son, Joshua Pritchett (Kendra); step-daughter, Rachel Recker (Chris); aunt, Evelyn Dinger of Punxsutawney; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 10:00AM until the 11:00AM Memorial Service at the Puzzletown Road Bible Church – Duncansville; Pastor John Gross officiating.
