DONALD R. GUYER, 78, of Homewood at Martinsburg, formerly of New Enterprise, died 03/26/2014 at Homewood after a Lengthy decline for Dementia. Born 04/28/1935 in Roaring Spring, the son of Richard and Mary (Sell) Guyer. Married Darlene (Over) on Nov. 5, 1935 He Retired for Pen Dot after 30 Years of service and was in the Army from 1955-1957.
Survived by his wife and two sons Monty Guyer and his wife Deborah A. (Koontz) Guyer Of New Enterprise and Marty Guyer and his fiancé Ruby Wallace Of New Enterprise, three sisters Peggy Boyd of East Freedom, Joyce Kichman of New Enterprise and Dixie Long of Martinsburg two brothers Teddy and Joe Guyer both of New Enterprise. One Granddaughter Megan E. Guyer. Preceded in death by four brothers Roger, Larry, Dale and James.
There will be no viewing or visitation and the interment will be private. Arrangements by the S. Gerald Weaver Funeral Home, Woodbury.
