Donald Patrick Suter

December 3, 1945     May 20, 2022

Donald Patrick Suter, 76 of Feasterville-Trevose, formerly of Williamsburg passed away Friday, May 20, 2022 at his residence.  He was born in Rhindlander, WI, son of the late Samuel Lloyd and Esther Elvira (Matson) Suter. On July 6, 1968 he married Grace L. Moyer at the Yellow Springs Lutheran Church in rural Williamsburg.

He was the beloved husband of Grace for 53 years; loving father of Brian Suter (Colleen), and Jeffrey Suter; devoted grandfather of Erin, Caroline, and Luke; and beloved brother of Sandra Detwiler (Terry), and the late Michael Suter (Sharon). Donald will be greatly missed by his mother-in-law Ethel Moyer, sisters-in-law Linda Smith (Gerald) and Patricia Riley (the late Bill), and many nieces and nephews.

Donald was a 1963 graduate of Williamsburg High School.  He then proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War as a Crew Chief on a C130 and attained the rank of Airman 1st Class. He was employed as a Die Setter Mechanic with the United Steel Workers- Local 6129 and was a member of the Bristol Elks Lodge #970.

He loved the outdoors and taking trips with his family to go camping, hunting, and fishing. Donald enjoyed collecting baseball cards, coins and records and also   researching family lineage. He was extremely proud of his family’s long history of military service of our country. In his spare time, Donald loved to work on cars, and over his lifetime rebuilt two cars. Most of all Donald was a devoted family man, who loved to spend time with his grandchildren, especially attending the Veteran's Recognition Day at Warwick Elementary, where his grandchildren attended.

Friends will be received from 10:30am until noon, Friday, May 27, 2022 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg, where a funeral service will follow at noon, Pastor Tiffany E. Marvich officiating.  Interment with military honors will be held at Yellow Springs Lutheran Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to One Step at a Time Therapeutic Riding Program, PO Box 125, Bristol, PA 19007.
