Dora M. (Baker) Hull

March 24, 1925 — March 30, 2016

Dora May(Baker) Hull, 91, Of New Enterprise, died March 30, 2016, at home. She was born in Waterside the daughter of John B. and Ethel May (Sell) Baker. She married Robert Allen Hull who died May 1, 1983. She was of the church of the Brethren faith. She retired as a cook for the Northern Bedford County School District. She enjoyed her family and cooking and was a member of the Cove Community Club. Dora is survived by two daughters: Lynn Szempruch and husband, John C., of Uniontown, Ohio, and Marilyn and husband, George Browell, of New Enterprise; two sons: Jack Hull, of St. Thomas, and Chris Hull and wife, Christie, of New Enterprise; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Alma Bortefield. Viewing will be held at 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 1, at the S. Gerald Weaver Funeral Home and 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 2, at the New Enterprise Church of the Brethren where an 11 a.m. service will be held by Pastor Andy Duffy. Interment in the New Enterprise Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Hospice - Nome Nursing Agency of Bedford County, 20 Sheraton Drive, Altoona 16602, or the New Enterprise Church of the Brethren, 3715 Brumbaugh Road, New Enterprise, PA 16664. Arrangements by the S. Gerald Weaver Funeral Home, Woodbury.
