Dorcas E. Stultz, 82, a resident of Graystone Court, Roaring Spring, formerly of Williamsburg, passed away peacefully in her sleep Friday morning, September 13, 2019 at Epworth Manor, Tyrone.

She was born in Saxton, daughter of the late Wayne Calvin and Frances Elizabeth (Hess) Russell. On June 4, 1960, she married Darl D. Stultz in Saxton and he preceded her in death on July 17, 2008.

Surviving are a daughter, Shelby J. Maynard of State College; a son, Kenneth W. Stultz of Ebensburg; and a sister Betty Jean (Mike) McCahan of Phoenix, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas E. Russell; and a son-in-law, James A. Maynard.

Dorcas was a 1955 graduate of Saxton Liberty High School and retired as a nurse’s aide from Homewood at Martinsburg, after many years of services. She was an active member of Fairview Church of the Brethren, rural Williamsburg, where she served with the women’s fellowship.

She loved spending time with her family and her pet dog, Ginger. Dorcas also enjoyed baking, cooking, traveling, and was an amazing seamstress.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 pm, Monday, September 16, 2019, at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg, and from 10 until the 11 am funeral service, Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at the funeral home, Brother Thomas Hanks officiating. Interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
